My Style & Background
Hey there! My name is Shelby Cowart and I'm a local artist that specializes in acrylic on canvas in a completely abstract, dreamy, bright-colored way. I grew up on California's central coast and have been painting professionally since 2022. I'm inspired by big bold abstract colors that reflect the gorgeous sunsets we have in Pismo Beach and the golden hills of San Luis Obispo. I'm heavily influenced by impressionist works but I love to add prominent streaks and dashes to accentuate sharp lines with urban touches.
